MasterCard is seeking for a Product Manager to join our Data and Analytics team in building new data driven products for our consumers. The candidate will work with cross-functional teams and global stakeholders to build and enhance our products strategy and other value added services. The ideal candidate should be passionate about the customer experience journey, highly motivated, intellectually curious, analytical, and possesses an entrepreneurial mindset.

Role

• Provides designs specifications for and develops new products and services or their components
• Knowledge of product development operations
• Researches new technologies and competitive products to develop additional product ideas and enhancements.
• Participate in the development and execution of product strategies
• Enhance the development of the product value proposition
• Participate in assigned phases of the product development life cycle which may range from concept to launch
• Contribute to the development of new products and product enhancements to meet customers’ needs
• Follow the New Product Development/Go-To-Market (NPD/GTM) Process for assigned areas of responsibility
• Performs launch-related activities associated with new or highly customized product implementations, including marketing/communication and collateral
• Participate in translating product requirements into technical specifications
• Coordinate activities with client facing teams, internal development teams, third parties and/or joint ventures
• Defines business and technical requirements and manages the relationships of technical resources and the Global Technology Organization to maintain and build out platforms.

All About You

• Outstanding record of building and managing products that deliver data and analytics industry services, including experience launching new initiatives with non-traditional payment providers in a fast-paced and changing environment with multiple and competing priorities.
• The successful candidate will have the ability to drive product strategy, but will also be able to quickly switch to understanding technical details when supporting customer requirements, designing new features, and when issue resolution is required
• Strong leadership skills in working with multi-disciplinary teams of both a technical and business nature
• Excellent project management skills, with strong problem solving, analytical, and communication abilities
• Proven ability to write clear and effective product documentation from business requirements, through to implementation guides and promotional materials
• Interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a highly matrix organization
• Ability to interact effectively at all levels and team with internal and external business partners
• Advanced verbal and written communication skills including presentation skills
• Business acumen coupled with a strong customer focus and analytical skills

Qualifications Required

• Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent work experience. Advanced degree or MBA a definite plus.
• 10-12 years prior related work experience in product development, desirable to be in financial services.
