The Position As an AWS Data Engineer, you will be part of a DevOps team and will be part of Agile Release Train (ART). As part of team, you are entrusted to fulfil the following responsibilities: You should have an expertise in cloud infrastructure (AWS). You will contribute to bringing the AWS-based data platform into production. You will implement the foundations of the AWS configuration for the platform. You will configure relevant AWS services according to best practice. You will integrate AWS data services with selected Novo Nordisk data platforms. You will be assisting with implementation of the data platform by providing guidance for technical setup. You will be working of building data pipelines by following best practises and coding languages (python). You will provide technical advice for the implementation of a shared data platform based on an AWS-based architecture. You will help define the optimal configuration of the data platform into the data science work being done within the organizational area. You will Manage deliverables within agreed schedule, scope, quality and budget. You should be actively participating in discussion around good practises for data engineering implementation. Qualifications You hold a master’s/bachelor’s degree or similar graduate degree in relevant field (Computer Science, Business Administration or equivalent). You should have min 4-5 years of IT (Knowledge on Pharma processes would be an added advantage). You must have an understanding AWS infrastructure and has hand on experience in Python scripting. You have worked/or has exposure on multiple AWS services such as AWS Glue, AWS Athena, AWS Lake Formation, S3, IAM, AWS Cloud formation, AWS Lambda. You should have the ability to collaborate and communicate with external parties, primarily users and the ability to represent NN in relations with users and external stakeholders. You should have excellent communication skills written and orally in English About the Department In Research and Development (R&D) IT GBS, a part of Global IT GBS, a portfolio of Good Practise (GxP), Financial & business critical applications is being managed and supported. These applications are among the most critical IT systems in Novo Nordisk supporting essential processes and being used 24×7 by thousands of users worldwide.
