The individual must have extensive knowledge and experience with LCM activities, Factory SCR/ECR management, CoNQ management, DEFOA Addressable strategies, DE bottling factory processes to improve current quality & productivity standards and supply chain de-risking strategies enabling them to leverage the Process and deliverable, translate Business problems into actionable strategic and tactical sustaining engineering plans.

Managing multiple QMS and best practices of engagement.
Strong process knowledge in PDLM/ MLD life cycle management.
The individual is required to Ensure maximum value of the sustaining engineering portfolio that STET can take up including lifecycle management by optimizing and exploiting synergy opportunities across business units and clusters.

The individual must identify and respond to complex situations, relate and compare data from different sources, project outcomes, and interpret results used to guide Division decision-making.
The Director of Sustaining Engineering must have a strong understanding of engineering design and manufacturing practices as they apply to the company’s core products and technologies.
This is a key leadership position within the engineering organization and requires the ability to plan and execute on many levels, both strategic and tactical, to provide cross-functional support.
The individual is expected to set up and lead a sustaining team to partner with businesses, develop understanding of their complete product portfolio, gain technical expertise to provide proactive manufacturing support and technical guidance necessary to manage products over their life cycle.
The individual is responsible for setting up a process to coordinate and develop high-level plans, schedules, resource assignments, and budgets for larger sustaining projects that reduces product cost, minimizes product variations, improves product quality, targets standardization, pro-actively addresses obsolescence, and promotes commonality and reuse of assemblies, sub-assemblies and components in the product portfolio.
The position requires effective and timely visual communication of product cost impacts, supply chain risks, sustaining approaches in an OBEYA style visualization approach.
The position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to influence colleagues, regardless of position or grade.
You are a part of
ISC Engineering cross-functional team responsible for R&D knowledge transfer, life cycle management, localization, global transfer projects in Idea to Market (I2M), Market to order (M2O) and Order to customer (O2C).
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Master’s degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent
20 years’ experience in Sustaining Engineering function and/or in Medical/Healthcare companies
Proven experience in related domain areas and deep product insights in similar functions are strongly preferred. Life Cycle Management (LCM) experience including business facing and a strong business acumen. (Techno-Commercial) looking for improving bottom line results.
Experience in creating strategies and developing effective concepts: strong track record in creating large scale impact
Experience in a business partner role/function
Change management experience
Deep understanding of value/cost/financial data and analytics
Experience in Building a Solid technical / financial acumen
Proven track record in leading cross functional teams with affinity towards innovative development projects and feel comfortable with handling the funnel from relatively vague requirements to well-defined project with committed business partners
Experience in Supplier Strategy Development, Factory Productivity Management, LCM and Obsolescence mitigation
Strong networking and influencing skills.
Experience in PDLM / MLD process of V-model product development Lifecyle management.
Must have worked in a Global Matrix organization, Key stake holders are Business leaders, R&D for Product development (NPI) and life cycle management, Supplier quality & Regulatory teams, knowledge of Radio Frequencies Coils, Magnetic resonance, Computed topography, Digital X Ray systems, related supplier base ,its products, policies and procedures are also desired.
