Customer Data Platform (CDP) is a new initiative under the Salesforce Marketing Cloud aimed at changing the future of digital marketing. CDP is a multimodal analytics SaaS solution which will be used as a Single Source of Truth.

The Customer Data platform will enable companies to unify customer data, manage identity and consent, segment and activate audiences, and optimize engagement with powered insights. Companies can now build a single view of their customers to deliver personalised engagement across marketing, commerce, sales, and service.

We are seeking experienced Full Stack Engineers to join a world-class team of highly motivated software engineers and infrastructure experts. As a full stack engineer you will own and build fast, accessible and delightful user experiences for the CDP enterprise cloud product running at web scale. You will have skills in one or more of the modern UX stacks Angular, React, LWC (Lightning Web Components) and be conversant with backend frameworks like Node.js.

The ideal candidate learns quickly, works efficiently in fast paced ambiguous environments, is team driven, solves complex problems permanently, and has an affinity for data and a bias for action.

Job Responsibilities

As a hybrid full stack web application developer, core responsibility is to design and develop a multi-tenant high performing, highly engaging web app on Salesforce Core Platform leveraging their latest java script framework LWC (Lightning Web Components). This app exposes a long list of big-data services and use-cases to Salesforce Marketing Cloud customers, which will in-turn interact with a backend big-data system that ingests, processes and activates 10s of petabytes of data. This web-app will have many workflows, forms, and highly engaging data visualization/analytics components.

Desired Skills

• Minimum 8+ years(4+ years for SMTS) of experience in design and development of feature rich UI products
• Expert on JavaScript and CSS fundamentals
• Deep understanding in any one of modern MVC frameworks and libraries such as LWC (Lightning Web Components), React, Angular, Vue, Ember, NodeJS, etc
• Solid understanding of web technologies, such as HTTP ,HTML, CSS, XML ,JSON, and/or AJAX
• Hands-on experience with performance measurement, analysis, and optimization
• Understanding how a browser works. Solid understanding of web application performance engineering concepts, tools((i.e.ChromeDevTools, UIAutomator, UIProfiler etc), methodologies, metrics, and analysis
• Proficient with any one of the RDBMS systems like Oracle, PosgreSQL, MySQL (at least one). Experience with creating DB schemas to model Business requirements.
• Ability to work cross-functionally to articulate, measure and solve issues. Passion for continuous improvement in building a knowledge base technically and professionally
• Experience with Agile development methodology and test-driven Development
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Expert judgment, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience balancing live site management, feature delivery, and retirement of technical debt
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or any engineering discipline.
