This is a Manager of People role leading 9-12 direct reports across the 3 service lines – Learning Operations, Learning Technology, and Learning Content Design/Development.
Core Responsibilities:
Deliver work across the 3 service lines using DevOps, Agile and Lean practices towards maintaining high NPS and engagement scores across all work areas.
Lead the execution of the learning technologies service strategy with inputs from L&C leaders by:
Mentoring and growing the LMS administrators pool to expand the learning platform reach to all Eaton employees and contractors.
Support the LMS deployment for external revenue-generating learning programs.
Configure/Build, Maintain and Administer the learning digital platforms for enhancing the learning experience at Eaton.
Manage the new product/content development process and tools to develop courses and websites using the latest standards.
Manage the support of leadership development, global compliance and regional needs by aligning with the leaders on strategy and priorities.
Optimize the capacity utilization of team and software licenses and communicate proactively, participate in Operation Reviews for informing and seeking guidance on intake of projects with stakeholders.
Ensure due diligence in adherence to processes and exception management while servicing customer needs. Drive continuous standardization of Learning best practices across the enterprise.
Escalate and follow through on action items with appropriate channels. Engage the leadership team to get guidance and review escalations to determine opportunities for improvement.
Develop and sustain a customer service focus while building a CI mindset and Agile at scale culture across all the services.
Monitor appropriate coaching is provided in delegation of transaction requests and project requests through coaching, empowerment and build team capabilities.
Function as a central point of contact for the service line with customers and the leadership team.
Mentor appropriate product expertise support is provided to their team members.
Take accountability to give immediate feedback and empower the team, to be responsible for owning their service expertise. Be an accountable leader to the team members while engaging them with stretch responsibilities.
Take responsibility for hiring and performance management in their teams and build a lean talent export organization for Eaton.
Extended Responsibilities:
Manage vendor partnerships on technical issues and manage dependencies and deliverables as per project plan.
Review vendor product roadmaps and champion bringing new technology as per the digital strategy alignment areas.
Develop healthy working relationships with OpEx and Learning Experience teams to deliver services focusing on best in class user experience.
Plan and execute targets to automate/reduce manual work by learning new technologies and applying them.
Build team strengths to flex between multiple work streams based on work priorities and strategic shifts in the marketplace.
Build the team resources and develop active successor pipeline for self and the team members.
Create and operate the Learning Technology portfolio as per agreed governance framework.
Be accountable for defining metrics, measure them and report them to the leadership team. Develop and Excel in a data-driven decision-making mindset.
Own up the execution of strategic new initiatives from the Learning & Culture leadership team.
Qualifications
Requirement:
B.E in any stream. MBA (Preferred)
Minimum of 13+ years of work experience with at least 10+ years in the L&D industry and a minimum of 8+ years of people management experience
Proven experience on building teams and nurturing teams within a manufacturing organization is desired.
Ability to manage projects using Agile frameworks is mandatory.
Require in-depth functional knowledge of e-learning standards, Learning Management Systems, Content Integration of multi-modal learning assets and Reporting databases.
Working knowledge on Power Platforms (PowerBI, Power Query, PowerApps, Power Virtual Agents) will be a plus.
