I am applying for the position of Editorial Researcher in your esteemed organisation – Taylor & Francis India. I have a Masters in Physics from SD College, Panjab University, Chandigarh with a Bachelors in Science with Honours in Physics from PAHER University, Udaipur.

I believe myself to be suited for this role as I lean towards multi-dimensional learning and growth, and have, consequently, nurtured interdisciplinary interests in Astronomy, History, Culture, English and Environment through autodidacticism and informal reading. In pursuance of this, I have completed a course in Archaeoastronomy and am currently enrolled in a course in Latin. I am a voracious reader, mostly of fiction and poetry, and relish absorbing interesting viewpoints on myriad topics and lectures through information visualisation. I have been a regular contributor to the school and college magazines owing to my love of the English language, and consider myself a competent writer and editor.

Although I have had no formal work experience, I have been involved in volunteer work whenever presented with an opportunity. Over the last two years, I have been preparing for the Civil Service Examination, which has exposed me to the study of several subjects that I had not been conversant with before. Through this experience, I have gained a better perspective of the deep interconnectedness of issues that often seem unrelated on the surface, and have filled the gaps in my knowledge-base.
