Dear Hiring Manager,

I am writing this letter for the application of ‘Prominent Consultant Hiring for CFD Engineer at Vadodara, Gujarat’ posted on the career webpage of your organization. Based on the description, it has come to my attention that my career prospects and interests match very much with the work being offered by the company.

I have completed my graduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from Vellore Institute of Technology, India. Presently, I am pursuing my final year of Masters of Science in Aeronautical Engineering from Linköping University, Sweden, with aerodynamics as my major subject. My current work in the master thesis includes developing a CFD strategy to model the ventilation system along with a porous media for the animal occupied zone in a laying hen house using turbulence modelling approach. The basic introductory courses provided at the university helped me expertise into the aerodynamic aspect of the field. I have undergone intensive MATLAB and CFD work through the assignments provided using the CFX and the Fluent solvers for turbulence related problems including thin film cooling, airfoil aerodynamic characteristics, compressible flow past a wedge, periodic flow over hills and much more exciting CFD. The simulation work being carried out in all the assignments required lot of thinking and learning over designing the model, meshing, setting up the boundary conditions to be applied for the particular problem, and post-processing of the results generated, thereby providing me the right opportunity to enhance my skills in the area.

I have also had previous industrial experiences, of working as an intern while pursuing graduation, for companies like FAG Bearings, Suzlon, Nirma Ltd. and Apollo Tyres Ltd. working on some projects like improving the logistics and strength measurement. This exposure has helped me to develop my inter-personal skills and work ethic on a corporate level.
