I have 15 years of versatile experience in Product development. My core competence is engine performance and meeting emission norms. Started my career as application engineer in Bosch. This job demanded me to travel to customer end and work as a resident engineer. I have also worked with OEMs like Tata Motors and Daimler India commercial vehicles.
In these roles I have worked closely with service team/customer quality to resolve field issues and train them on technical know-how. I have been also exposed to the customer who would be the end user of the product.
In my current organization I work with product management team to understand gaps in our products if any and our position in market against our competitors (for example fuel economy, oil consumption etc). Such data gives me a fair idea about how the product should be placed in the market and what the road map would like, based on various factors
Hence in the last 15 years I have not only developed my technical skills and product development competence but have had the indirect exposure to the actual business (both B2B & B2C) which helps in developing a product which is customer centric. Therefore I would like to leverage this experience to understand the voice of the customer to resolve complaints/issues and also give appropriate feedback to the management for the improvement of the product
