An exciting opportunity has become available to join our team focusing on generalist administration skills with a passion for training and development. Working with a team of friendly peers your role will be pivotal in driving end to end employee positivity.
A day in the life
No two days are ever the same in tourism and hospitality, but duties may include as follows.
On boarding of new employees including induction and orientation, and applying grooming standards.
Ensure all employee files are maintained and contact details are updated.
Assist with the payroll process and weekly hours approval including time and attendance information and relevant payroll forms.
Support employees and managers in scheduling and delivery of training programs, including compliance programs.
Co-ordinate the staff Reward and Recognition program.
Assist with administrative functions and provide support to other departments when required.
Maintain accurate records of documents ensuring materials are filed confidentially.
Maintain a safe working environment, minimising/eliminating staff or guest injuries by adhering to RACV OHS and Risk management Policies and Procedures.

We are looking for
A positive can-do attitude with the passion to make all our employee’s roles as rewarding as possible.
Payroll experience.
Previous experience as an admin assistant within a hotel or hospitality environment is ideal.
Possess strong computer skills especially the Microsoft Suite. Kronos and Employee Connect, or similar timekeeping program knowledge is highly desired.
An understanding of OHS and generalist HR procedures.
Excellent administration, communication and organisational skills.
A high attention to detail.
Team player who can work well under pressure.
