Job Overview:
Responsible for the Quality Control Management (QCM) Program and assures the Program is implemented and meets performance objectives and standards identified in the contractual requirements.

This position is unaccompanied; and a Bachelor’s Quarter (BQ) will be provided.

Responsibilities:
Essential Duties & Job Functions:
Develops, implements, and maintains a Quality Control Plan that is tailored to the contract and encompasses all facets of the operation.

Plans and executes a wide variety of technical and administrative assignments; effectively communicates with department and project personnel regarding quality assurance policies and procedures.

Inspects work in progress and finished work for discrepancies in accordance with the Quality Control Program and contract requirements.

Completes necessary inspection reports and documentation required to support findings.

Ensures all contractor operators have properly documented safety training qualifications and performance evaluations on file.

Assists in the preparation of project audit schedules, discipline activity plans for the QA function, and audit reports (internal and external), noting nonconformance and verifying effective corrective action.

Examines tools, parts, processes during and after PM’s, Repairs and OCCM (Annual Inspection & Repairs).

Investigate quality concerns and problem solve issues in an effective and timely manner to achieve customer/company satisfaction.

Perform root cause research and analysis of process failures and product nonconformities.

Accurately writes, edits, and maintains Quality work instructions.

Develop an orientation program to ensure the workforce is familiar with the requirements of the contract and the Quality Control Program.

Promote quality achievements and performance improvements throughout the organization.

Acts as a quality auditor and follow-up on audit findings and corrective actions.

Accurately reports all issues, problems, accomplishments, and results of surveys, inspections, meetings, and observations relating to performance of the contract to the Site Manager.

Job Requirements:
Mandatory:
High School Diploma or equivalent.

At leave five (5) years of experience in preparing and enforcing quality control programs on contracts of similar size and complexity.

Experience in conducting quality system audits.

Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Power Point, Word) and basic AutoCAD (i.e., ability to pull and read drawings).

Travel by plane, helicopter and/or boat to conduct work activities on an outer island as may be required.

Ability to successfully pass any background checks, pre-employment physical requirements and drug testing required by the contract.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. passport.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance, which includes U.S. Citizenship or U.S. naturalization.

Valid U.S. Driver’s License required.
