JOIN OUR BRIDGE DEPARTMENT IN GURGAON

You will become part of COWI’s Bridges unit, which holds more than 600 skilled experts worldwide. Our services cover the entire lifecycle of a bridge, from planning and design to operation and refurbishment or decommissioning, and we are privileged to include some of the world’s highest and longest bridges amongst our accomplishments. The Bridge department of COWI India consists of approximately 40 Specialists that work in close collaboration with Specialists elsewhere in COWI’s Bridge network to deliver projects globally, including India.

DESIGN THE FUTURE WITH A GLOBAL TEAM OF EXPERTS

In this position you will join our global team of experts and work closely with Head of Section-Bridges, your finest task in our team will be preparation of high quality 2D models and extraction of 2D drawings from the 3D model.

On a day-to-day basis you will:

• Be responsible for production of bar-bending schedules.

• be responsible for production of general arrangement drawings, reinforcement drawings and bar-bending schedules

• Actively participate in safeguarding our focus on quality through critical evaluation and structural understanding

To succeed in this position, we believe that you work independently and have the overview to plan, manage and complete your projects and tasks & follow structured and detail-oriented work approach with focus on quality and maintain a good collaboration with team depending on the project requirements.

Furthermore, you should:

• Hold a Diploma / B. Tech. in Civil Engineering and come with 5-10 years of work experience in bridge modelling

• Have experience in 2D modelling of concrete structures and rebar detailing using Micro-station

• Experience in AutoCAD would be an added advantage.

• Be proficient in all Microsoft Office software particularly MS Excel and Word.

• Have good language skills in English (spoken and written)

• Have the ability to work independently within a project team
