Smaato Inc. Hiring for System Engineer at Pune, India Full Time

Smaato is seeking a Systems Engineer to help drive operational and infrastructure requirements, and assist with building tools to manage the infrastructure, and work with the Development and Product organizations to architect and deliver new technologies into our platform. This requires a team player mentality, a capability of both collaborating in a fast-paced environment and of working independently with a high level of self-motivation. What You’ll Do * Architect, build, deploy, and operate core infrastructure and services utilised by all our engineering teams * Conceptualise, design, build and maintain applications, tools and cloud infrastructure. * Build resilient and scalable solutions by applying and adopting cloud APIs and Open Source tools, as well as enhancing them as needed * Promote testing, security, monitoring, logging, and continuous delivery/deployment as essential parts of your software development practices What We’ll Need * Several years of experience operating cloud-based applications at scale * Strong experience with public cloud services is required, and experience with AWS is preferred. * Expertise with Linux/Unix system internals * Understanding of network components and distributed systems. * Familiarity with running containers in production environments * Proficiency developing in a modern language like Go, Rust, or Python * Hands-on experience with CloudFormation / AWS CDK and solid experience in Infrastructure as Code (principles, tools, best practices) * Bachelor degree in Computer Science or equivalent * Full business proficiency in English
