Job Summary
As a part of the Communications and Engagement (CE) team within the EY BMC Agency, the Supervising Associate (CE) works closely with the Global Social Media team to create and manage key communication tasks to the EY social media network. The Supervising Associate also manages, reviews and updates content on the EY social media SharePoint site supporting stakeholders across global EY business in creating and optimizing new content where needed.
Role and responsibilities
Support stakeholders/ SharePoint site owners with the build of new Social Media Zone pages and ongoing updates
Manage the social media community including liaising with our product management team and maintaining social media community lists on a daily basis
Support the Global Social Media team in production of weekly news articles
Edit and publish content – including text, images, and embedded media such as videos and social feeds – on the EY SharePoint site
Ensure compliance with web standards and editorial guidelines
Sending calendar invites & schedule for monthly social media managers meetings
Preparing the presentation; agenda of monthly social media managers meetings and co-ordinating with the Global Social Media team
Creating & publishing the weekly email newsletter (Outlook) to the social media community
Identify and escalate issues or required decisions quickly, with a focus on getting the work done
Continually review and optimize priority content based on its performance against KPIs; stakeholder, project team and audience feedback
Support user journeys by cross-promoting related content and making recommendations for improvement of page designs(from elsewhere on the intranet, other EY platforms, or
external sources such as social media)
Share ideas and innovation to improve site design and functionality, as well as content management processes
Technical skills/tools
Experience in Modern SharePoint sites and online editing, publishing, working on a CMS
Experience with One Access tool for GLMS list management
Excellent editing skills and strong attention to detail
Excellent command of written US English
Strong understanding of digital content and publishing best practices across a range of media (text, images and video)
Experience with sourcing appropriate images and performing basic editing
Able to write engaging headlines for news articles & campaigns
Basic HTML familiarity
Basic understanding of search engine optimization
Able to adapt content to a wide variety of local and role-specific audiences
Experience working virtually, in a large global organization, across time zones and with different cross-functional teams
Strong project and time management
Able to work independently and proactively, completing multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-pace environment
Strong relationship management skills, including advising and guiding stakeholders on best practices for digital content
Strong influencing skills, including problem-solving and diplomatically managing competing interests
Collaborative approach – used to working with others across a wide range of disciplines and levels of seniority
