Summary & Role Information
This role is a mix of project management and escalation management. As part of escalation management, the person is owning customer-centric escalations End-to-End. She/he is responsible for making sure the appropriate resources from various technical as well as customer-delivery teams are assigned to an escalation and are efficiently and effectively working together under her/his coordination until the customer situation is de-escalated. As part of project management role, the person is responsible for driving the various projects within the PMO organization in TechOps.
Escalation management role involves:
Participating in and driving of internal technical calls
Continuous and thorough documentation and reporting of progress made towards resolution
Getting involved in customer communication in case customer facing teams require support
Coordinate implementation of safeguarding structures
Support overall organization in continuous improvement by applying learnings from past escalations to future ones
Closely working with business in a customer-oriented manner and with proactive service attitude in a highly motivated, globally distributed team
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS
B.E / B.Tech / M.Tech / MS / MCA fulltime with > 65%
8 years of relevant work experience
Experience (Role requirement)
Extensive knowledge about IT Service Management // ITIL
At least 5 years of active experience in Project Management and/or Incident and Escalation Management
Broad knowledge in fields of infrastructure-, database- and application-operations
Willingness and eagerness to learn about and understand new technologies and their impact to overall service delivery
Experience in verbal and written communication with Senior Management, potentially up to C-Level
Experience in verbal and written customer-facing communication is a plus
