Legend Footwear Hiring for E-commerce General Manager at Remote Full Time

We are a fast-growing online branded footwear retailer and have been trading since 1992. We sell on multiple marketplaces and are one of the UK’s largest marketplace sellers. We are looking for a full-time Ecommerce General Manager to work remotely. This is a permanent contract.

About the Role

This is a new position within the company and is ideal for individuals who wish to grow, develop, learn and maximize their potential at a global e-commerce company. The Ecommerce General Manager is responsible for leading all the teams of the e-commerce departments (customer service, product merchandising, digital marketing, IT and Admin). The successful candidate must have related skills and people management experience, combined with strong management and leadership capabilities. This is a Monday to Friday role, however, on some occasions, you may be required to work on a Saturday or Sunday depending upon the business needs. Main responsibilities

• Planning, organizing, directing, and controlling all the e-commerce operations of the company.
• Taking full ownership and management of the e-commerce departments and their performance with a team size of 4–5-line managers and a total of 25-30 staff.
• Create, review and update business process flows. Ensure continuous process improvements leading to better quality/efficient processes.
• Ensure that we meet all the KPIs of the business.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and development to all the e-commerce departments.
• Coordinate with the recruitment team for the recruitment needs of the e-commerce department.
• Coordinate and lead the e-commerce projects for business development, finding new and replacing existing service providers.
• Work closely with all the warehouse, inventory, and accounts departments of the company
• Identify areas of issues and improvements for the business and implement changes.

Minimum Requirements

• At least 5 years of managerial experience, leading a team of 15-25 employees in an e-commerce business (B2C or D2C)
• Experience with Digital Marketing
• Excellent data analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Experienced with ERP systems, task management systems, database management
• Familiar with e-commerce industry trends, applicable laws and tax rules
• Meticulous in your approach with high attention to detail and ability to prioritize effectively and meet deadlines
• A positive attitude, full of ideas and working well under pressure, working independently to draw conclusions and take action
• Previous experience of working with IT teams
• Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word)

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Amazon (Seller Central), eBay, and other marketplaces
• Experience with Shopify
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 app suite
• Experience with SQL Server
• Experience with ClickUp
• Managing 3rd Party Fulfilment partners

Equipment Requirments

We also have the following requirements for the computer hardware, your workspace, and the internet. If you do not meet these requirements, your application will be unsuccessful.

• Desktop computer with a minimum Operating system: Windows 10, Processor speed: 3.9 GHz, RAM: 8 GB, Three monitors (minimum screen size of 24″)
• A backup Laptop computer with similar specifications as the main desktop computer.
• Minimum of 50 Mbps internet connection with a backup of similar speed
• A designated workplace that is not in a shared space and is free from all distractions
• Willing to install an IP Camera providing a live video and audio feed of your workplace during your shift timings. We will provide the IP Camera and other related peripherals.

Pay Rate

We are offering a salary range of ₹142,106/- – ₹258,100/- per month for this role depending on the work experience. We also offer a monthly performance bonus and a yearly performance bonus for managers which is linked to the company’s end of the accounting year’s profit
