Primary Responsibilities:

• Modernization and Cost optimization of the Application

• Mainframe Online abends Reduction, maintenance, Batch Abend handling

• Very well versed with daily BAU activities of production environment and taking care of key indicators of application health in production

• Able to manage team’s scrum board, and take responsibility of managing User stories/features specially across Sprints and PI’s

• Able to handle business calls independently, identify the ask and communicate efficiently to the team.

• Able to participate and represent application team in war rooms

• Well versed to metrices driving the KRA’s of application

• Mainframe modules enhancements for new features/requirements – requirement analysis, design, code, test and deliver

• Handling Problem tickets, Incident tickets related to mainframe application modules

• 24/7 on-call support (Cycle: Every 2 weeks, Duration: 2 weeks)

• Handling Problem tickets, Incident tickets related to distributed application modules

• Basic, structured, standard approach to work

Required Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience

• Solid knowledge on Mainframe Tools and technologies listed below:

• COBOL

• CICS

• JCL AND PROC

• VSAM

• DB2 & SQL skills

• OPC

• ENDEVOR

• Sound knowledge of the Online Foundation views Connecting with the Portal Applications

• Good knowledge of Health care industry, preferable Provider’s domain

• Excellent designing, programming, testing skills

• Other than Mainframe modules, willingness to learn the functionality & technology of Distributed application (Java, API, Chatbots, DevOps)

• Ready to play versatile roles as per project/business demands – Development, testing, Production support, etc.

Preferred Qualification:

• Good to have exposure to work in DevOps model and Agile framework
