Global Technology Infrastructure (GTI) is the technology infrastructure organization for the firm, delivering a wide range of products and services. We partner with all lines of business (LOB) to provide high quality service delivery, exceptional project execution, and financially disciplined approaches and processes in the most cost-effective manner. The objective of GTI is to balance both business alignment and the centralized delivery of core products and services. GTI is designed to address the unique infrastructure needs of specific lines of business and the demand to leverage economies of scale across the firm.
The Citrix Xenapp/Xendesktop administrator is responsible for maintaining and administering highly available Merchant services Citrix environment. Seeking an Engineer with in-depth knowledge of Citrix Virtual apps and desktops, Provisioning services, Netscalers, Microsoft App-v ,VMWARE ESXi, Windows administration .The Merchant Services servers are designed to support a highly available Infrastructure with zero downtime for each physically segmented leg of our infrastructure. The Citrix Engineer would support all aspects of the Merchant Services Citrix core Infrastructure including support for the front end and backend servers.
Responsibilities include:
Participating in the support of Citrix Virtual apps and desktops.
Maintaining a highly available Citrix environment including optimization of user profiles and applications.
Managing the security of the Citrix Xenapp systems by following best practices methods for the applications and users.
Analyzing Citrix system performance, root cause problem determinations, capacity planning and preparation of reports as needed.
Managing and implementing redundant systems and policies for Citrix disaster recovery.
Working in collaboration with other departments or organizations to develop and analyze applications in support of their projects or mission, then upgrade or enhance service offering to meet these requirements.
Managing development of scripts to automate manual administrative works using scripting languages Powershell, Python etc..
Qualifications:
Minimum of 6+ years of experience in supporting Citrix Xenapp architecture and application deployment.
Proficiency with Citrix Virtual apps and desktops user administration.
Knowledge of Citrix Netscalers, Provisioning Services, Storefront and Microsoft App-v.
Good knowledge of Windows 2012/2016/2019.
Knowledge on Group policy management, DHCP, DNS.
Demonstrated ability in managing virtualization infrastructure on an enterprise scale including: VMware ESX Server, Virtual Center, VMotion, P2V and disaster recovery procedures.
Basic understanding of network topology and design.
