The Communication department consists of a team based in Hong Kong and dedicated teams in key locations: China, India, Japan, and Singapore for SE Asia. Structured to support key areas of focus (Corporate identity & strategy / Business expertise / Innovation / Corporate & Social responsibility), the department encompasses the following channels:
Societe Generale in India is present through two entities under the Societe Generale brand: Societe Generale Global Solution Centre (based Bangalore/Chennai) and Societe Generale Corporate & Investment Banking (based in Mumbai/Delhi/Hyderabad/Chennai). SG GSC is delivering offshoring solutions to all Societe Generale entities across the world, primarily for their wholesale banking activities. SG GSC has another entity based in Romania, with a dedicated communication team. Whilst the position focuses on the SG GSC activities in India, it also contributes to promoting the Societe Generale corporate brand in India, as well as promoting the GSC expertise to all SG entities globally, in coordination with the GSC teams based in Romania.
Role summary Based in Bangalore, working under the supervision of the Head of Communication – Global Solution Centre, India, the Communication Administration Officer is responsible for providing operational support and governance to allow an efficient day-to-day operation of the communication activities.
