Job Description

Manager – Supply Chain Management

Qualification:

  • Diploma / Any graduation

Experience:

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in any industry. Automobile related is preferred

Functions to Handle :

Purchase (Imports & Domestic), Stores, Logistics (In-bound & Out-bound)

Importantace of Position :

Critical funtion as this role is intended to provide all Direct & Indirect Materials from right source (Imports & Domestic) at right time-Quantity-Quality to improve the Organisations Efficiency

Roles & Responsibilities :

1. Identification & evaluating the right supply sources & maintaining them with good moral & ethics policy of SVM

2. Handling basic technical & full commercial activities throughout the Supply chain

3. Effectively storing & issuing the materials, maintaining the stock of all materials thro ERP system

4. Closely working with Finance & Quality team for the effective function of SCM

5. Planning, coordinating, and monitoring logistics operations for all the incoming materials

6. Planning, coordinating, and monitoring of Packing & logistics operations for all the outgoing materials

7. Maintaining our owned / Hired / Leased Trucks for its effective usage & maintenance

8. Managing the Quality Rejection materials, material sent on returnable basis with the proper accounting

9. Using the SVM-ERP without any deviations for all the functions of SCM

10. Effectively Co-ordniating with other departments for effective function of SCM

Skills Needed:

1. Strong Speaking, reading & writing in regional language Tamil & English. Hindi is added advantage.

2. Implementing the department plan and enforcing Quality systems according to SVM policy

3. Strong interpersonal skills, supported by strong analytical, problem solving and negotiating skills

4. Able to work quickly under multiple task pressure without direct supervision.

5. Able to understand technical diagrams and manuals

6. Aware of electrical, mechanical and chemical – basics, health and safety norms

7. Freely working on MS -Office, Email, Travelling to new places and appropriate health

Licensing and Certification:

· Should posses Valid 2W driving licence

· Material handling & Safety certification is advantageous

Working Environment:

· Work is usually performed in a company manufacturing centre and at Supplier place

· Require travel to Supplier/remote sites to perform his duties

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: ₹40,000.00 – ₹65,000.00 per month
