Full Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Service Manager to lead our service department and ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing service operations, exceptional leadership skills, and a customer-centric approach. The Service Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the service department, managing a team of service technicians and advisors, and ensuring efficient and profitable service delivery.

Responsibilities:

Team Leadership:

  • Manage and lead a team of service technicians, advisors, and support staff.
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and training to team members for skill enhancement and career development.
  • Set performance targets and conduct regular performance evaluations.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Interact with customers to address concerns, resolve issues, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Handle escalated customer concerns and ensure timely resolution.
  • Foster strong customer relationships to enhance loyalty and repeat business.

Service Operations:

  • Oversee the scheduling and allocation of service jobs to ensure optimal workflow and efficient service delivery.
  • Monitor service processes and ensure compliance with company standards and industry regulations.
  • Maintain a high standard of service quality and ensure that service jobs are completed within established timelines.

Technical Expertise:

  • Provide technical support to service technicians and advisors when addressing complex technical issues.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, advancements, and best practices to guide the team in delivering top-notch service.

Inventory and Resource Management:

  • Manage inventory of spare parts, tools, and equipment required for servicing.
  • Ensure optimal stock levels to meet demand and minimize excess inventory.
  • Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely availability of required resources.

Budget and Financial Management:

  • Create and manage the service department’s budget, tracking expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  • Monitor revenue generation, identify growth opportunities, and contribute to achieving revenue targets.

Performance Monitoring and Analysis:

  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to customer satisfaction, service turnaround time, first-time fix rates, and more.
  • Analyze performance data to identify trends, areas of improvement, and actionable insights.

Training and Development:

  • Identify training needs for service staff and coordinate training sessions to enhance technical skills and customer service abilities.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the service team.

Regulatory Compliance:

  • Ensure adherence to industry regulations, safety standards, and quality guidelines in service operations.
  • Keep the team informed about any changes in regulations affecting service delivery.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven experience in service management, preferably in automobile sector.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Technical knowledge and understanding of automobile sector.
  • Proficient in using relevant software and tools for tracking, reporting, and communication.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 – ₹30,000.00 per month
