YOUR TASKS

Supplier Quality A.M / D.M

  • 7 to 10 years of experience in Quality, Supplier selection, Supplier audit
  • 7 to 10 years of experience in New Product development
  • Experience in Automotive Industry

Knowledge :

  • Knowledge of Quality Systems such as IATF 16949:2015
  • Knowledge of VDA 6.3
  • Know how of Plastic molding, Die-casting, Sheet metal and rubber molding process, Electronic parts
  • Knowledge of Tool manufacturing

Skills :

  • SPC,MSA,8D Methodology, Problem solving technique skills
  • Measurement instruments (i.e CMM,VMM,HG,DVC etc) usage
  • Skilled in 7QC tools,5S, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plan
  • GD&T,DFM, Mold flow ,Tool design

Responsibility:

  • Responsible for new part development
  • Do the simulation of defect at supplier end to validate the root cause of problem. Suggest the appropriate countermeasure for the problem.
  • Problem Analysis (7 QC tool’s & SPC) & counter measure implementation & verification at supplier end
  • Responsible for PPAP sample approval for mass production
  • Establish master samples at the time of development for visual defects and fitments approved by customer for further reference
  • Participated in APQP process for new product development and act as supplier quality representative, initial design review, supplier process validation and final PPAP approval
  • Responsible for developing new Product as per specific requirement through APQP
  • Responsible for inspection (Layout inspection/ functionally test) of newly developed product
  • Follow up for the countermeasure / 8D report for rejection
  • Participation in the customer specific audit as TS-16949:2009, VSA audits
  • Coordinate for the gauge manufacturing for the new project
  • Safe launch monitoring of the new purchased part
  • Supplier system and process audit
  • Define the incoming inspection criteria for new development
  • On time reporting of project to Global team as per Forvia APQP guideline

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • B.E / B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Automobile
