About our Client : Our Client is a Leading and Reputed Group of Companies into Automobile business having Turnover of over Rs.1000 crores.

Designation : Assistant / Deputy / Manager – Finance & Accounting

This candidate will have the opportunity to lead the automobile finance in next 5 years.

Job Location : South Chennai

Qualification : B. Com (CA inter / preference for additional qualifications)

Experience : Min 5 years working in a Middle level position

Compensation : 6 lacs – 8 lacs (fixed + variable. +/- 15% flexibility)

Reporting to : Divisional Finance Head

Job Description and Candidate Profile :

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the maintenance of all ledgers, bank reconciliations, journal entries
  • Administer the general accounting processes with other group companies which includes fixed assets accounts and provide financial reports
  • Reconciliation of vendor and customer ledgers
  • Preparation and making timely payment of taxes
  • Ensure all process controls are in place, including receivable & payable management
  • Define and execute required corporate MIS statements and operational reports
  • Oversee and ensure accurate monthly financial reports, including P&L statements, balance sheet, cash flow statements and year-end financial reports
  • Ensure compliance and oversee the preparation and filing all statutory payments and returns
  • Oversee receivable and payable management and finalization of accounts

Important Skills:

  • Excellent communicator and fluent in English and prefer to be able to speak in Tamil
  • Excellent ability to work in MS Word, Excel & Tally
  • Liaison with OEMs and financiers etc.
  • Ability to work independently and multi-task in a team
  • Experience in the automotive industry will be a great benefit but not a necessity
  • Ideal candidate will be fully capable to accept this position from Day 1 rather than be trained and groomed into this role

Ideal age is between 35 40 years
