Job Description

Purpose

Managing the team of Supervisors who are responsible for controlling the production operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay.

Key Responsibility

Production Control:

  • Aligning the daily production strategy to the overall demand plan shared by central planning team
  • Preparing the MPS & Machine Loading chart & ensuring the plan v/s actual
  • Regular Gemba with ops team and ensuring the daily targets are achieved
  • Onetime escalation to the SMT on any loss affecting the target plan
  • Identification of Risks and getting the commitment from CFT on the mitigation plan

Line balancing:

  • Monitoring Target vs. Actual and taking necessary action
  • Responsible for Line balancing, sequencing & scheduling of production flow
  • Good experience in End-to-End Production planning control (Plan-Execute-Control) in Manufacturing Industry
  • Responsible for Achieving targets with effective Utilization of Manpower
  • Meeting Sales & Operations targets as per AOP
  • Responsible for Achieving Zero BAD (Breakdowns, Accidents & Defects) with effective CFT members
  • Monitor and review the manufacturing order ageing and follow up with DRI to close the Orders as per KPI
  • Focus on Lean manufacturing techniques

SAP and Scheduling Software:

  • Releasing Work orders through ERP tool and monitoring the plan vs actual

Morale:

  • Setting the KPI-s for the team in line with organization goals
  • Identifying the skill gaps & provide necessary trainings to the team members
  • Motivate the team to participate in the activities which are contributing growth of the team as well as organization

Qualification

  • BE (Mech / Production / ECE)
  • ME (Manufacturing) / MBA

Experience

  • 10 to 13 years (BE)
  • 8 to 10 years (ME / MBA)

Additional Technical Requirements

  • Experience in EMS, Automobile & Any Mass Production industry
