Full Job Description
Conversant with root cause analysis for complex issues. Knowledge of Good / Bad analysis, tolerance stacking, 8D process, zero base analysis etc
G D & T knowledge & drawing interpretation along with knowledge of various standards applicable for casting, forging, including hardware
Basic manufacturing knowledge of casting, forging including hardware
Detailed knowledge and hands on experience for general Measuring instruments like Micrometer, Vernier calliper Die Test, Bore Dial, Height vernier etc .
Detailed knowledge of critical measuring instruments like, Contour Tracer, Surface finish tester, Trimos, Round ness tester, Profile projector, hardness tester etc
Detailed knowledge of CMM. Programming & Measurement. Report interpretation etc
Knowledge of MSA, APQP, PPAP, SPC & FMEA. Knowledge of calibration will be added advantage.
Knowledge & experience related to ERP systems specially SAP.
Basic knowledge of materials & properties.
Basic knowledge of special processes like Heat treatment, surface coatings < welding, Priming, painting etc
Other responsiblity
Expertise on MS Office, Excel, Power point, Word etc
DWM – Data management & MIS – Daily, weekly, monthly etc. Good in compiling executive summary.
Knowledge & experience on various quality tools including DOE, 7 QC tools, Why Why analysis, 5W1H etc
Capability for evaluation of corrective actions with focus on root cause confirmation.
Project monitoring. Periodic review for pending status & escalation to get the things done.
Knowledge on Quality Management Systems ISO/TS System documentations
