Asrid Hiring for Quality Engineer APQP and PPAP in machining at Chennai, Tamil Nadu

We are looking for engineers with good precision machining experience and also APQP and PPAP experience from automotive industry.

The role is responsible for Quality activities in APQP – DFMEA, PFMEA, & control plan preparation, developing QA matrix, is the customer liaison for APQP/PPAP/DV/PV/Customer launch issues, and facilitates problem-solving process for DV / PV open issues.

Candidates must have 8 to 12 years of job experience in manufacturing in castings / forgings / precision machining. Candidate must have Metallurgy / castings experience – Steel, ferrous, aluminium castings, etc.

Develop and implement quality processes and standards for the automotive industry.

Perform root cause analysis and develop corrective actions.

Design and implement quality control systems.

Plan and implement audits to ensure internal processes and products meet quality standards.

Review and report on customer complaints and feedback.

Liaise with suppliers to ensure quality of parts and materials.

Need hands on production experience, preferably steel castings for this role.
