The Service Manager in the automobile line is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the service department, ensuring efficient and high-quality vehicle maintenance and repair services. This role plays a crucial role in maintaining customer satisfaction, managing the service team, and achieving business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Service Operations Management:Oversee the day-to-day operations of the service department.
Ensure efficient scheduling of vehicle maintenance and repair appointments.
Monitor and maintain service quality and standards.

Customer Service:Provide excellent customer service and handle customer inquiries and complaints.
Address customer concerns and ensure a positive customer experience.
Develop and maintain strong customer relationships.

Team Leadership and Management:Supervise and train service technicians, mechanics, and support staff.
Set performance goals, conduct performance evaluations, and provide feedback.
Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.

Workflow and Resource Management:Optimize workflow processes to maximize service efficiency.
Allocate resources effectively to meet service demands.
Ensure proper utilization of tools, equipment, and facilities.

Quality Assurance:Implement and maintain quality control procedures.
Monitor the quality of repair and maintenance work to ensure adherence to industry standards.
Address any quality issues promptly.

Inventory Management:Manage and control spare parts and materials inventory for service operations.
Coordinate with the spare parts manager to ensure timely availability of required parts.
Implement inventory tracking and reorder systems.

Budget and Financial Management:Develop and manage the service department budget.
Monitor expenses and revenue, identifying opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth.
Prepare financial reports and forecasts.

Compliance and Safety:Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
Keep up-to-date with industry regulations and recommend necessary changes.
Maintain a safe and clean working environment.

Technical Knowledge:Stay informed about the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.
Provide technical guidance and support to service staff when needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Automotive Technology, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
• Proven experience in automotive service management.
• Strong knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance processes.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Leadership and team management experience.
• Proficiency in using automotive diagnostic equipment and software.
• Financial acumen and budget management skills.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: ₹20,000.00 – ₹22,000.00 per month
