Main Purpose of Job

Developing, validating, communicating, and implementing a Sourcing Strategy for Manufacturing Services that delivers a competitive advantage to the business. Opportunity to develop credible long-term relationships with suppliers as well as internal & external stakeholders.

Offers critical Exposure to lead projects and manage issues / crisis situations. Project Procurement for high value capex projects with timeline management and vendor delivery expertise. Project stakeholder management from procurement and representation in forums as preferred skillset.

Job Responsibilities

• Sourcing Strategy implementation and communication plan, Supplier management plan. To ensure implementation of sound procurement processes and strategies to achieve the set objectives.
• Appropriate suppliers for the spend category selected.
• Lowest Total Cost of Ownership
• Ensure that all the key suppliers within the spend category are aligned to Nestlé’ Suppliers Code and compliant with Nestle Responsible Sourcing Requirements
• Integrate Innovation elements from suppliers into Nestlé’ Innovation and Renovation processes.
• Network with the industry / other Nestle markets / zone management to gain an insight into the various spend categories which would help in formulating a sound purchasing strategies.
• Accountable for driving projects that cuts across various categories of material and pertains to the overall function.
• Ensure the agreed service level with internal stakeholders & closely liaise with business to ensure business priorities and the department activities and priorities are closely aligned to each other.
• Procurement Analytics and Procurement Excellence
• Participate and engage in the Monthly / Weekly operational reviews.

Key Experience:

• Min 5 years of Procurement and/or SCM experience
• Prior Project management experience is beneficial.
• Prior Facility management experience is beneficial.
• Prior procurement analytics and excellence project experience are beneficial.
• Over a sustained period (2-3 years) has demonstrated success in delivering competitive advantage to the business through development and implementation of sourcing strategies for the spend category in charge.
• Ability to create and sustain credible long-term relationships with suppliers and external stakeholders.
• Has demonstrated the ability to successfully lead projects and manage crisis.
• Has demonstrated the ability to influence internal & external stakeholders.
• Has demonstrated successful use of TCO analysis, risk management, responsible sourcing and supplier relationship management.
• Has experience in manufacturing services procurement.
• Negotiate contracts ensuring the most beneficial commercial agreements with suppliers in line with the strategy.
