Candidate Message

Thank you for reading my profile. I’d like to mention some of my transferrable skills from my previous jobs that I think will bring success to this role. Design and aesthetics has been a large part of my career. While I directly have worked in graphic design and business roles, I possess the capacity to learn new things easily. I am a hard worker and I am always eager to learn more and grow.
Bringing 4 years of design experience in a variety of sectors, I have combined my previous retail and sales experience with creative problem solving and present a powerful skillset to your workplace. I have found myself working with multiple businesses including retail stores, engineering firms, art galleries, dance studios, hospitals, and real estates firms to name a few. Being exposed to these businesses has helped me grow my business knowledge as well as my design skills tremendously. In general, my previous positions have had very distinct job duties. My roles revolved around making print designs like brochures, pamphlets, rack cards and other similar marketing material, some desktop publishing work, website designing and maintenance. My other duties included everyday business and admin work like managing invoices, preparing contracts, managing vendors, keeping fleet supplies well in stock, problem solving client concerns, providing tech support on calls, and arranging meetings with multiple working groups like stakeholders, and team groups. I also maintained processes for various projects in case of urgent or scheduled handover of project(s).

Apart from business and design experience, I also would like to mention my hobbies in brief. I am fond of creative activities including drawing, painting, and gardening. I found my interest in graphic design when I started drawing in my childhood. I found my inspiration in interior design magazines, and newspapers. I have lots of scrap books from my younger age with mosaics and cutouts. I tried using cutouts and other graphics to put together a meaningful design.
