• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from an Institution of repute.
• An additional Master’s degree or specialization in a related field is a plus.
• Post-qualification experience of 10-15 years including a similar leadership role within an ecommerce org.

Legal Strategy And Compliance

• Develop and implement the company’s legal strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.

– Monitor changes in laws and regulations affecting the company and proactively advise the management team on legal implications. –

• Hand on involvement in IPO readiness for the company involving internal and external stakeholders management.
• Should have exposure with Fund Raising & & Due Diligence
• Establish and maintain a robust compliance framework, including policies, procedures, and programs to ensure adherence to legal requirements.

Corporate Governance

– Provide guidance and support to the board of directors on corporate governance matters, including board meetings, resolutions, and regulatory filings. –

– Ensure compliance with corporate governance principles, guidelines, and best practices. –

• Oversee the preparation and maintenance of corporate records, legal documents, and contracts.

Contract Review, draft, negotiate, and advise on a wide range of contracts, agreements, and legal documents, including commercial contracts, vendor agreements, partnerships, and licensing agreements.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify legal risks and provide recommendations to mitigate them effectively.

Litigation And Dispute Resolution

– Manage and oversee the company’s legal disputes, including litigation, arbitration, and alternative dispute resolution processes. –

• Work closely with external legal counsel when necessary, ensuring efficient and cost-effective representation.
• Provide guidance on settlement negotiations and risk assessments related to legal disputes.

Regulatory Compliance

– Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements specific to the company’s industry sector. –

• Establish and maintain effective relationships with government authorities, industry associations, and relevant stakeholders.
• Represent the company in interactions with regulatory agencies, as required
