Dear Hiring Manager,

My name is Amiteshwar and I am writing to express my interest in the open position at your company. I am a highly motivated individual with a passion for biotechnology and a strong desire to make a meaningful contribution to the field.

I am a recent graduate of Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology, where I earned both my Master of Technology in Biotechnology and Bachelor of Technology in Bio-technology. During my time at Thapar, I gained a solid foundation in the principles and techniques of biotechnology, as well as an in-depth understanding of the latest research and developments in the field.

In addition to my formal education, I have also developed a wide range of core skills that are directly relevant to the open position at your company. These skills include Cell Culturing, Bacterial Isolation, Clinical Microbiology, Bacterial Growth Medium Preparation, Pharmacology and Handling Probiotics, Graphpad Prism 8, Quality Supervision, Quality Control and Assurance, and Laboratory Operations.

I am particularly excited about this opportunity as I have a strong interest in the field of probiotics and have completed a main project on “Isolation and Characterisation of Lactobacillus species isolated from gut bacteria and study of its physio-chemical stress tolerance.” Through this project, I have gained hands-on experience with many of the techniques and technologies that are essential to this field, such as, cell culture, bacterial isolation and microscopy. I am also proficient in Graphpad Prism 8, which I have used to analyze and present my research data.

I have also gained valuable experience through my internships. I interned at Mother Dairy Fruit and Vegetable Pvt. Ltd as a Quality Assurance and Quality Control Intern from July 2019 to December 2019. During this time, I worked in the quality control and quality assurance unit of powdered milk, ghee, butter, and ice creams. I was responsible for handling the workload of the number of samples coming for testing and preparing the data sheet of the samples passing the tests from different sources. Additionally, I also interned at Orbit Biotechnology where I was responsible for isolation of probiotic bacteria from Yakult and performing various tests on bacteria isolated. I also worked on quality tests on different food samples.

During my Master’s I took up a project titled Isolation of probiotic bacteria from human gut and study of its physio-chemical stress tolerance, where I Isolated the bacteria from human fecal matter and studied its probiotic properties.

I am confident that my education, experience, and skills make me a strong candidate for the open position, and I would welcome the opportunity to contribute my skills and enthusiasm to your team.
