I am a dedicated MCA graduate from St. Joseph’s College of Engineering and Technology, Pala, with a strong foundation in computer science and programming. Over the past six months, I have been working as a Python Developer Trainee at Foxdale Pvt. Ltd. in Technopark, specializing in Django development. My education has equipped me with a comprehensive understanding of software development principles, algorithms, and data structures, while my experience at Foxdale has allowed me to apply these skills in real-world projects. I am passionate about leveraging Python and Django to create efficient and scalable web applications, and I am committed to continuous learning and growth in the field of software development. As a Python Developer Trainee at Foxdale Pvt. Ltd in Trivandrum, I primarily utilized the Django framework to develop web applications. During my tenure, I successfully contributed to three projects, which included a template selling website, a flight booking system, and a billing software with a graphical user interface (GUI). For the template selling website project, I collaborated with a team to design and develop a platform where users could browse and purchase website templates. This involved implementing user authentication, payment gateway integration, and a user-friendly interface for browsing and selecting templates. In the flight booking system project, I was responsible for backend development tasks such as managing flight data, implementing booking functionalities, and integrating APIs for real-time flight information. Additionally, I worked on optimizing the system for performance and scalability to handle a large volume of concurrent users. For the billing software project, I took a lead role in designing and developing the graphical user interface using Django’s built-in template engine and front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I also implemented backend functionalities for generating invoices, managing customer data, and tracking billing history. Throughout my seven-month tenure from July 2023 to February 2024, I gained valuable experience in Python development, particularly with the Django framework. I improved my skills in database management, API integration, and front-end development while working on these projects. Additionally, I actively participated in team meetings, code reviews, and project planning sessions, which enhanced my collaboration and communication skills in a professional setting.
