We are looking for Head – Factory Operations (Nashik)

You’ll make a difference by

We are currently looking for a Head – Factory Operations, at our manufacturing location in Nashik.

• Overseeing the manufacturing activity of components of railway systems and ensuring strategy, production, performance, and quality standards are consistently met.
• Responsible for all department managers and supervisors, with review/approval responsibility for all operations employees.
• Continuous engagement with workers’ union to maintain healthy work environment. Ensure productivity targets are defined and met through regular monitoring
• Ensure a healthy and safe working environment, and compliance with Local Government and Siemens regulations, through collaboration with environmental, health, and safety staff.
• Communicate with legal counsel and safety department to ensure all processes remain compliant with OSHA health and safety regulations and other governmental regulations.
• Proven Leadership skills in developing high performance team by engaging, coaching and driving accountability & ownership at all levels.
• Communicate customer issues with operations team and devise ways of improving the customer experience, including resolving problems and complaints
• Enable to provide guidance in innovative solution in product as well as process to meet cost savings requirements.
• Represent Siemens in local industry forums

Desired Skills:

• Graduate in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering. MBA is preferred.
• Should have at least 10+ years’ experience in especially in manufacturing. Experience in Rolling Stock products preferred, Manufacturing Strategy and Leading People.
• Should be proficient in English, Hindi & Marathi
• Self-motivated with a results-driven approach with problem solving skills.
