Dear sir/ madam,

My name is Abhirami LR , a Bsc graduate
in Biochemistry and Industrial Microbiology from Kerala University, I have developed a solid
foundation in the biological sciences, and I am eager to advance my education and research in
microbiology, a field that has captivated my interest and passion throughout my academic career.
During my undergraduate studies, I had the opportunity to engage in several practicals and projects that
honed my laboratory skills and deepened my understanding of microbial systems. Additionally, I did a training course in quality assurance and quality control
at Merit Biolabs Pvt. Ltd.Kochi, where I piqued my interest in food-borne pathogens
and their impact on human health. This course helped me to advance my skills in molecular biology
techniques such as PCR and Gel Electrophoresis and also enhanced my knowledge of Quality Assurance
and Quality Control (QA/QC) practices which are crucial for safeguarding food safety.
Furthermore, I attended a certificate training program in “Advanced Clinical Microbiology”, at KIMS
Hospital Trivandrum, India, where I gained expertise and hands-on training in Bacteriology, Serology,
Mycology, Molecular biology, and BioAnalytic Techniques. The training emphasized the importance of
Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and the significance of Antimicrobial susceptibility testing in various
clinical specimens, as well as the clinical correlation.
