Dear Sir/Madam,
My passion has always been cricket and I have immense love for the game. I follow every format of the game very keenly and have been doing it for a long time now. A game of cricket, irrespective of the format, is something that gives me immense satisfaction and pure joy.
Since I could not make it big while playing cricket professionally, I really wanted to convert this passion of cricket into something substantial. Hence, I took up writing during my under-graduate university days. I have been a freelance cricket writer for nearly seven years now. I have the experience of analysing various pre and post-match performances of various teams and players. These articles required a flexible approach and some good analytical thinking. Plus, the articles were delivered within the deadlines and I showcased my ability to work under pressure as well. In addition to the blogs and content-writing, I worked as a text commentator for SportsKeeda in 2019 where I covered a handful of international matches, IPL and the World Cup. I also covered the Commonwealth Games in 2018 as a staff content writer for SportsCafe. I worked on sports like Badminton, Archery, Table Tennis among others.
Meanwhile, I currently work as an Agile Operations Analyst at Sky. As a valued member of the CRM Support and Technical Analysis team, I consistently excelled in prioritising, meticulously investigating, and analysing a wide range of issues, swiftly determining appropriate actions for their resolution. My leadership was evident in guiding recovery efforts post-incident resolution, where I utilised various methods such as modifying customer or application data, adjusting system parameters, developing workarounds, implementing procedural changes, and effectively escalating issues when required. By analysing customer data, I optimised the turnaround time for different Customer Resolutions Forms.
Moreover, my two-year experience as a Software Development Engineer at Perfios Software Solutions along with my stint at e-bate Limited as an Onboarding Analyst has made me a lot more capable in developing technical and analytical solutions to challenging problems.
As an Onboarding Analyst, my tasks included refining, translating and analysing data of new customers to fit the requirements of e-Bate’s application. I also work with the customer’s technical, data and analytical teams to extract information and data required to create interactive reports using AWS Quicksight. As a Software Development Engineer, I gained quite a bit of exposure in problem-solving which required me to dig deep into various programming languages and technologies like JAVA, Python, SQL, Ansible, Docker among others.
Hence, I believe that my passion for cricket combined with my education, diverse experience and ability to pay attention to detail along with being a dynamic team-player and a quick learner makes me a good fit. I look forward to hearing from you. Thank you for your time and consideration!
