Dear Sir/Madam,
I am applying for the post of Assistant Professor in Biotechnology.
I am a first class Master’s Degree holder in Zoology (Immunology and Genetics specialization) and have qualified CSIR-UGC NET twice with JRF rank 63 and 72 along with GATE (AIR-129).
I have 5 years of research experience as a PhD scholar (Thesis entitled as – “Evaluation of Iron Homeostasis in Indian Leishmaniasis”) under the supervision of Prof. Mitali Chatterjee, in Dept. of Pharmacology, IPGME&R, Kolkata and Associate Supervisor Dr. Madhumita Manna, Additional D.P.I. (Admn.), Higher Education Directorate, Dept. of Higher Education, Govt. of West Bengal
I have completed my thesis work and successfully defended the pre-PhD synopsis of my thesis (5000 words) and will be submitting my thesis by December,2021.
I have thorough knowledge of Zoology, Molecular and Cell Biology, Parasitology, Immunology, Genetics, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Microbiology and I am confident about teaching these subjects to the best of my capabilities. I am also experienced in hands-on molecular biological, Cell biological,microbiological and Biochemical techniques.
I would be grateful if you kindly give me a chance to prove my expertise. I can assure you that I would not disappoint you.
