Respected Sir,
I’m writing to you regarding the Pre Doctoral Researcher position. I have the necessary skills to be a competent contributor to your research team. Moreover, assisting with your research directly complements my career as I plan to pursue a Master’s in this field in the future.

My experience researching and writing an NLP related research paper — [Exploratory Data Analysis on Reddit data: A comparison of features and models for classification of flairs, that is currently under review at IEEE SMAP conference]— has helped me develop and fine-tune the skills necessary for a full-time research position. Specifically, my experience with reviewing literature and publishing various articles in the field of AI and algorithms, as evident from the publications in Medium blog listed in my resume, has equipped me with the reading and writing skills you’re looking for in your ideal candidate. My Internship and Mentoring experiences have helped me strengthen my skills. I have participated in several global hackathons and challenges and have won a couple of them. I am an IBM Certified Professional AI Engineer strong in Statistical, Mathematical, and programming skills. My theoretical knowledge I’ve gained over the years by reading through various books and research papers in the AI field and implementing them in code, and my love for analysis and research, makes me the best candidate. Currently I am researching on [Korean to English Machine translation using a sub character level approach]. As Korean being one of the hardest language and the huge translation divergence from English, makes it extremely difficult to translate. I am currently researching on using a sub character level approach to find if it performs better in the translation process.
