Being a researcher at Council of Scientific and Industrial Research – Fourth Paradigm Institute, Bengaluru in the field of machine learning, have always been fascinated by research and development. I am interested in working in a challenging researcher position, where I can use my technical and interpersonal skills as a part of a team or in individual capacity, which challenges my level of expertise as an Data Scientist. It is with great interest that I am applying.

I am currently working on the project titled- “Enhancement of quality of livelihood opportunities and resilience for the people in Indian Himalayas, through design of intervention strategies aimed at maximizing resource potential and minimizing risks in urban-rural ecosystem”, where the tasks in this project include, prediction and forecasting the crop production time series using deep learning-based algorithm Long-short Term memory (LSTM), and comparing the performance over machine learning algorithm Support vector Regression (SVR) and classical models like ARIMA, ARIMAX, VAR validating the models, reducing the loss in prediction of multivariate analysis, the detail study was carried in fine tuning of hyperparameters to get the optimized model in case of LSTM and algorithms for 4 different variants of LSTM were build. In this project I have used Tensorflow and Keras frameworks and currently working on spatio-temporal data by using ConvLSTM. All the programming is written using Python3 in Linux OS.

From the theoretical experience gained in the Master Degree Course, I gained the profound knowledge in the field of Time series Analysis. I have sound knowledge of advanced excel, R programming from the academic projects. I completed the Data Science using R course: undergone HR Attrition and Churn Analysis projects. In these Projects, learned how to deal with raw data and data preprocessing and univariate and bi-variate analysis to identify the significant variables predictive modeling. Then successfully completed project with the good results by developing R programming.

I am highly motivated to work in the position offered in your Organization, and I am sure that with my good Analytical, Technical and Professional skills will not only satisfy the role but will also go beyond expectations set for this role. I made my hours flexible to start working after one month’s notice period. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
