Dear Sir/Madam,
I am applying for the position of Chemist at Applied Materials for Mumbai location. I have more than 10 years of experience after completion of Ph.D in Materials Science from I.I.T. Kharagpur. I have successfully completed various industrial and academic projects for the new product development in the areas of Materials science more specific to colloids and surface chemistry, powder technology, nanoscience and nanotechnology. Recently, I have completed a 4years sponsored project on “Anti-reflective and dust mitigation coatings on Solar cells” by WOS-A, DST at IIT Bombay.

I also have worked for 6.5 years in R & D of Dow Chemical and Tata Consultancy Services, Pune. At Dow and R&D of TCS, as a Technical Lead, I have rich and wide-ranging experience in purposing and drafting the work plan, meeting the deliverables as per the defined timeline on various projects for the customer driven problems. Apart from this, my postdoc work at Ryerson University, Canada was also focused for an oil and petroleum Industry. I believe my industrial and academic research exposure in various interdisciplinary areas will be a useful addition to the expertise of need at Applied Materials. The position will be a valuable opportunity for me to apply my knowledge and learn to progress in the future.
