Candidate Message

Hello,
I am Vandana Beragi, a Fashion and Lifestyle Accessory Design graduate student from National Institute of Fashion Technology.
I would like to introduce myself as a candidate for the Assistant Designer/Designer position at the brand. My recent experience and education makes me confident in applying for this position.
During my previous role as a designer and merchandiser at the brand Gauge Machine, I used a variety of softwares and concepts to create creative bags/wallets for the brand.
My education at National Institute of Fashion Technology gave me the design knowledge that furthered my career as a designer. I obtained a degree in fashion & lifestyle accessory design with specialisation in bags design and with a minor in textile design. I learned about the Bag Design process, Leather design, user centric design, material handling, weaving, embroidery, printmaking techniques, surface print design,print and pattern, colour theory, elements of design and art. I created original Bag pieces all by myself starting the process with sketches and softwares till giving the very last finish to it.
