What you’ll achieve

Directs the efforts of others in the achievement of the strategic and operational objectives of the group. Oversees the processing and verification of invoices, coding of expenses, preparation of vouchers, issuance of checks for payment and forecasting. Oversees the monitoring of the accounts payable system. Utilizes computer systems to compile and prepare reports, graphs and charts of data developed. Recommends changes in methods or procedures to improve the efficiency of the Accounts Payable unit. Assists team members in the determination of the appropriate process, policies and/or procedures to be used in the processing of accounts payable. Ensures appropriate records are maintained. Responds to escalated internal inquiries. Coordinates audits to ensure compliance with all laws and regulations. Presents results of analysis and makes recommendations to management.

You will:

• Assists in determination of appropriate processes, policies and/or procedures
• Reviews accounts payable register and other related accounting reports
• Reviews processes and proposes recommendations for improvement
• Builds and develops relationships with key stakeholders and business partners in order to achieve business goals.
• Lead and drive any cross functional projects to improve and streamline processes across the domain.

• Preparing analyses of accounts and producing monthly reports
• Must have substantial ERP AP system experience: SAP, Oracle, Ariba
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with leadership team, Stakeholders and vendors
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Develops and maintains systems, procedures and policies to ensure adherence to company policy and guidelines.

Desirable Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or related field preferred. with 7-10 years relevant experience.
• Seven or more years of accounting experience
