Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to apply for the post of Research Scientist, Google Research. I am currently working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Business System, Sri Krishna College of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore, India. I am also involved in some administration works like imparting 5S awareness among the faculty and students, Placement Coordinator, NPTEL SPOC, NAAC, NBA and NIRF coordinator, In-charge of Student Hostel in imparting Quality in all perspectives in our organization. I have Eleven Plus years of teaching, research and administrative experience. I am extremely interested in this position offered by you as my commitment to undergraduate education, interest and experience in dealing with different problems and interdisciplinary research make me a good fit. My objective as a teacher is to motivate my students to develop their own learning interests and critical thinking – to establish a learner-centered environment in the classroom. I believe that clear, open communication with students is a key element in helping them learn. In my prospective career as a professor at your distinguished institution offered by you, I look forward to work in a collaborative learning and teaching environment with both faculty and students, where I can develop courses incorporating innovative teaching techniques and the most recent theories and research through an interdisciplinary approach. I am excited at the prospect of teaching Computer Science and I feel that I could contribute to a number of the other courses at both the introductory and intermediate level. I would also welcome the opportunity to develop new courses according to departmental needs. In addition to that I am a Publons certified reviewer and also acted as mentor for various events like India Innovation Challenge Design Contest (IICDC), Tamilnadu State Council for Science and Technology (TNSCST) and Smart India Hackathon (SIH). I have trained myself with the ACM Curriculum and AICTE Curriculum standards.
