You will be working as Production Supervisor and will be part of Process Automation Business Area for Measurement and Analytics division in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to Production Manager and will be responsible for leading a team within a production unit or line in the execution of production processes to transform parts and raw materials into ABB products in a timely, cost-effective manner. Ensuring continuous and efficient operation in accordance with volumes, schedules, procedures, drawings, quality, safety standards and policies.

Your responsibilities

Organizing and allocating resources to effectively and efficiently meet line production targets, responding to resource issues as necessary, leading capacity planning and resource optimization for the assigned unit or line

Ensuring that production scheduling and production planning meets the volume requirements agreed in the demand plan and defined inventory service levels

Identifying and recommending technical equipment and facility improvements as necessary. Production execution ensures execution of volume, conforming product and on-time delivery targets for the assigned production lines

Identifying deficiencies in production area, proposes improvement activities and overseeing implementation of actions to improve production performance

Managing the resolution of critical product or equipment issues together with relevant internal teams

Ensuring with HR Manager support that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled, directed. Guiding, motivating, developing direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies

Your background

Diploma or B.E in Electronics or Instrumentation or Mechanical

Minimum 3 to 7 years of experience in electronics or automation industries or automobile in electrical industries

Experience in production, production planning, resource management, shift planning and manpower handling

Knowledge on measurement, analytics products, instrumentation and electronics products
