The Spare Parts Manager in the automobile line is responsible for overseeing and managing the inventory, procurement, distribution, and sales of spare parts for vehicles in the automobile line. This role plays a critical role in ensuring that the right parts are available when needed to support vehicle repairs and maintenance, thereby contributing to the efficient functioning of the automobile line.

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Management:Maintain accurate records of spare parts inventory.
Monitor and control stock levels to ensure optimal inventory turnover.
Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.
Implement efficient inventory management techniques to minimize excess or obsolete inventory.

Procurement:Identify and source spare parts from suppliers and manufacturers.
Negotiate favorable terms and pricing with suppliers.
Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability.
Ensure that spare parts are purchased in a timely manner to meet demand.

Distribution:Coordinate the distribution of spare parts to various service centers or repair shops.
Develop and optimize distribution routes to minimize delivery times and costs.
Ensure accurate and on-time delivery of spare parts to customers or service centers.

Sales and Customer Service:Manage the spare parts sales process, including pricing, quotations, and order processing.
Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers.
Address customer inquiries, concerns, and warranty claims related to spare parts.

Quality Control:Implement quality control measures to ensure that all spare parts meet the required standards and specifications.
Monitor the quality of incoming spare parts shipments and take corrective actions when necessary.

Budget Management:Develop and manage the spare parts budget, including cost control measures.
Analyze financial data and report on key performance indicators related to spare parts management.

Team Leadership:Supervise and train a team of spare parts staff, including procurement officers, warehouse personnel, and sales representatives.
Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.

Regulatory Compliance:Stay up-to-date with relevant regulations and industry standards related to spare parts and automotive components.
Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in spare parts management within the automobile industry.
• Strong knowledge of automotive spare parts, suppliers, and market trends.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Leadership and team management skills.
• Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and standards.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: ₹15,000.00 – ₹18,000.00 per month
