Job Summary: As a Business Development Manager at our placement
company, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of our business by
identifying and securing new business opportunities. You will be responsible
for building and nurturing relationships with potential clients, understanding
their staffing needs, and proposing tailored solutions that align with our
services. Your goal is to expand our client base and contribute to the overall
success of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Client Prospecting: Identify and target potential clients in various industries
who require staffing and recruitment services.
2. Lead Generation: Research and generate leads through various channels,
including online research, networking events, referrals, and industry
publications.
3. Needs Analysis: Conduct thorough needs assessments with potential clients
to understand their staffing requirements and challenges.
4. Solution Development: Collaborate with the internal team to create
customized staffing solutions that meet the unique needs of each client.
5. Proposal Creation: Prepare compelling and tailored proposals that effectively
communicate the value proposition of our services.
6. Negotiation: Engage in negotiations with clients to establish terms, pricing,
and contract agreements.
7. Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with both
new and existing clients to foster long-term partnerships.
8. Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and
market dynamics to identify opportunities for growth.
9. Business Strategy: Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve
revenue targets and business objectives.
10. Pipeline Management: Maintain a well-organized pipeline of leads,
opportunities.
11. Collaboration: Collaborate with the marketing team to create effective
promotional materials and campaigns that support business development
efforts.
12. Feedback Loop: Gather feedback from clients to continuously improve
our services and tailor offerings to meet evolving needs.
13. Reporting: Provide regular updates and reports on sales activities,
performance, and progress toward goals to the management team.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (Master’s degree
preferred).
Proven track record of success in business development, sales, or account
management, preferably in the staffing or recruitment industry.
Strong understanding of staffing and placement services, including
recruitment processes, industry trends, and best practices.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to build rapport and maintain relationships with clients.
Strategic thinker with a customer-centric approach.
Goal-oriented and self-motivated individual.
Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events, as required.
