Job descriptionAre you an expert in all things WordPress? Do you have a knack for developing in PHP, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS? You may just be the candidate we’re looking for!We are seeking a Website Support Specialist & Developer to act as the line of defence in supporting our clients with technical support for websites created using our own proprietary hosting product. Our ideal candidate will thoroughly understand the ins-and-outs of DNS, SSL, caching, WordPress and web hosting; be able to write FAQs, help articles, and blog posts; and help our users thrive with our hosting product with their demonstrated expertise in development & WordPress.ResponsibilitiesWork closely with our clients and development teams to super-serve and solve technical issues related to websites created through WordPress, Woocommerce, Divi Builder — interacting directly with customers over email, chat, phone, and video calls as neededWork with users to identify and fix broken plugins, themes, and sites with ease for our clientsCreate and contribute to resource content in the form of FAQs, help articles, blog posts, and etc. to address solutions & strategies that help users thrive with our hosting platformMaintain product knowledge and awareness of developments (being able to brief clients as necessary)Coordinate feedback from clients on product development suggestions and improvements back to R&DUtilize CRM software to manage interactions with customersDevelop solutions for identified technical issues using PHP, JavaScript, HTML, and CSSSkills & Qualifications2+ years experience working and developing directly in WordPress; experience developing/supporting eCommerce websites considered a strong asset1-2 years experience working directly with customers/users in a service settingDemonstrated expertise in DNS, SSL, caching, and web hostingDemonstrated ability to develop solutions in PHP, JavaScript, HTML, and CSSDegree/diploma in computer science, computer engineering, or the like considered an assetHigh standards of performance for self; assuming responsibility and accountability for success by self-imposed standards of excellence.Proper phone etiquette and the ability to speak and write clearly and accurately in EnglishAbility to deal effectively with others, using appropriate interpersonal styles and methods to reduce tension or conflictAbility to clearly convey and receives information and ideas, through a variety of media, to individuals or groups in a manner that engages the audience, helping them understand and retain the messageAll Client interactions will be in English as the majority of our customers are located in North America.***Candidates not completing the Verbal assessment through Indeed will not be contacted***Job Type: Full-timeSalary: ₹20,000.00 – ₹30,000.00 per monthBenefits:Health insurancePaid time offProvident FundWork from homeSchedule:Monday to FridayExperience:Website support: 1 year (Preferred)Shift availability:Night Shift (Required)
