Key Role & Responsibilities
Document and take custody of all the original bills w.r.t. all the payment transactions
Verify the bills (amount/quantity/measurement) against all service work orders or purchase orders
Follow up with Stores department for collection of original bills for payments made
Make and transfer journal voucher/debit note/credit note entries for respective items
Maintain Service tax and TDS reconciliation
Pay Service tax payment, fill challans and process the same in coordination with Head Office
Disburse cash payments through vouchers, Internal debit notes(IOUs)etc. across AIL and other group companies
Maintenance of the cash accounting system via strict and mandatory entries of each transaction to SAP
Reconcile and verify cash issued against cash available in drawer on daily EOD(end of day) basis
Monthly reconciliation of petty cash fund
Ensure salary payments through cash to employees entitled for same
Maintain record of Cash inflow/Outflow and ensure documentation of the same for audit compliance
Ensure safety and security of cash transactions
Reconcile loan amount issued towards advance payments or IOUs by making necessary adjustments in the salaries of employees
Assist in quarterly balance sheet finalization
Ensure to do a Vendor ledger reconciliation on quarterly basis for major vendors
Adhere to the month end closing process for FI module & ensure all accounting entries been completed accordingly
Regularly checking the GR/IR clearing account to ensure all SES/GRN invocies received in finance & booked before month close
