• You are proactive and strategic in coming up with new design ideas and concepts.
• You can clearly explain and present both internally and to the clients the design decisions and directions taken to arrive at the design concept.

Some of the things you will be doing:

• Conceptualize and deliver upon a creative vision for the project on multiple fronts such as Logo Design, Graphic Design, Package Design, UI/UX Design, Photography, UI Animations.
• Managing a pool of Graphic Designers, UI/UX Designers, Brand Strategist, etc to bring design concepts, presentations, and prototypes to life.
• Mentor team members and provide constructive feedback to overcome design challenges or a creative block.
• Lead the entire creative process from inception to its completion within the allotted time frame and budget.
• Work with project managers and clients to ensure that schedules are accurate and realistic and deadlines met.
• Conceptualize and direct team members to deliver stellar UI Designs and Animations.
• Collaborate with Managers, Designers, Writers, other marketing team members, and external stakeholders to ensure the appropriate concepts, themes, and messages are represented effectively and consistently for the business objective(s) and audience(s).
• Stay on top of the latest standards, processes, and trends in the visual design field.
• Conduct Discovery Sessions and Design Meetings with clients to understand project needs and design goals.
• Formulate and put together Brand Design Strategies for existing or upcoming brands.

You will be a great fit if you have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or related field.
• 5 or more years of hands-on experience with Logo Design, Typography, Color, UI Design, Print Production, Image Selection and Package Design.
• Proficient in use of Affinity Suite, After Effects, Figma, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc with demonstrable Graphic Design skills with a strong portfolio.
• Ability to present creative work internally and to clients.
• Ability to collaborate with copywriters and graphic designers.
• Ability to collect and interpret feedback.
• A well-rounded portfolio of client work, demonstrating a strong understanding of client objectives.
• Ability to critically communicate and persuade around design concepts.
• Passion for design; not satisfied with status quo and always thinking of ways to improve.
• Dynamic, creative personality, effective at engaging and influencing a variety of audiences.
• Must understand design in multiple mediums — Print, Digital, Mobile.
• Well honed communication skills.
• Experience of working in a startup environment.
• A liking for flatter organizational structures.
