Finance Team Lead – General Accounting

This is a Finance Team Lead- General Accounting role , reporting Manager and will be a part of GBS located in Bangalore. Lead a team focused on the complete, accurate, and timely completion of accounting activities for an area (e.g. Reporting, Consolidation, etc.) within the General Accounting (GA) team. Ensure compliance with internal guidelines and procedures as well as external regulatory.

Your responsibilities

• Identify the Process variances and initiate for standardization
• Performing general accounting activities and recording of financial transactions. (Approvals of Journals etc)
• Supporting the team in investigating the reasons for any discrepancies found during Accounts Reconciliations
• Performing accounting analysis and generate reports to support finance and business leaders, thus facilitate decision making.
• Perform/Guide and Monitor the month end book closing / reporting activities.
• Co ordinate with Internal and External Auditors.

Your background

• Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce//ICWA or CA Inter.
• 5 to 7 years of experience in general accounting, reporting, reconciliation and processing of Accounting entries.
• Must have the experience in handling a team.
• Must have experience in Record to Report (R2R).
• Must be flexible to work in any shift timings.
• Good communication skills.
• Working knowledge in MS office.
