Job Title: UI/UX & Web Faculty
Location: Academy of Media and Design, Kochi
Salary: ?15,000 – ?30,000 per month
Working Days: 6-day work week

The Academy of Media and Design is seeking a passionate and experienced UI/UX Faculty member to join our team in Kochi. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in both UI/UX design principles and graphic design, with proven expertise in industry-standard tools and technologies. This role involves guiding and mentoring students, ensuring they gain hands-on skills and a deep understanding of the UI/UX field.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver engaging course material for UI/UX design, ensuring it aligns with industry trends and standards.
• Teach essential tools and software, including Figma, Adobe XD, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Integrate graphic design principles within UI/UX coursework, covering essential aspects of color theory, typography, and layout.
• Provide hands-on projects, real-world scenarios, and creative assignments to enrich students’ learning experiences.
• Evaluate student performance, provide constructive feedback, and support students’ design portfolios.
• Stay updated on the latest UI/UX trends and incorporate them into the curriculum.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in UI/UX Design, Graphic Design, or a related field.
• Proven experience in UI/UX design and graphic design.
• Proficiency in Figma, Adobe XD, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Strong understanding of UX research methods, wireframing, prototyping, and design thinking.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• A passion for teaching and mentoring students.
