Acceldata Hiring for Staff SDET – Bigdata Testing at Bengaluru, Karnataka Full Time

Position Summary

As a Software Engineer (Quality), you will work on the complete Acceldata platform product suite. In this role, you will be expected to work on functional testing, scalability testing, and performance testing of our products.

We’re looking for someone who can:
Be the gatekeeper for product and platform quality.

Come up with Project/Feature system test strategy, test plans, resource planning, and execution strategy.

Work closely with software engineers and solution engineers from the beginning of the development/test cycle and be an integral part of the engineering team.

Develop maintainable test automation tools, and automated test suites

Along with automation, create expertise in data technologies, platform components, and features

Maintain test coverage, regression pipelines, and release management

What makes you the right fit for this position?

Minimum 8+ years of experience in testing complex enterprise software.

Experience in test planning and automation of enterprise software

Expertise in programming using Java or Python and other scripting languages.

Experience testing with Hadoop ecosystem – HDFS, Hive, Spark, HBase, Kafka

Comfortable with build processes, CI processes, and managing QA Environments as well as working with build management tools like Git, and Jenkins.

Experience with performance and scalability testing tools and writing Linux commands

Good working knowledge of relational databases, logging, and monitoring frameworks is expected.

Good to have:
Don’t worry, we’ll ramp you up, but experience in any of these areas will help you hit the ground running.

Familiarity with system flow like how they interact with an application Eg. Elasticsearch, Mongo, Kafka, Hive, Redis, AWS

Good understanding of the JVM ecosystems and languages

Experience working with public cloud systems such as AWS, GCP or Azure

Knowledge of large-scale, data-heavy distributed systems.

Contribution to Open-source projects or Testing Challenges.
